05/25/2001 Entry: "What's the deal today with Netscape Messenger?"
I typically read my email using Netscape Messenger. Mostly becuase I've always done it that way and have all sorts fo folders of old mail. Call it a legacy situtation if you will. today I start it and it gets unbeluveably slow. Stop it and start it again, still very slow. I looked around at a few sites to find something I might be able to do or check. About the most helpful is The Netscape UFAQ . Still not sure of the problem. It seems to hang when it's goign out to check for mail or read some email that needs an image from the outside. It goes into a "not responding" state. Also seems to try to gobble resources.
