Went to lunch with some friends from Fredericksburg.com today. After lunch I went to the room where we used to work together - they're still there. The PC I used to use had this URL http://www.sodaplay.com/zoo/index.htm in the active browser window. It's amazing!!! When you use it be sure that sodasound is turned on. Someday I hope to be able to construct something with it.

Working on an abridged version of Essentials - calling it Learning to Use the Internet and the World Wide Web and did the activity in Chapter 2 that goes into some issues about navigating on the Web. Did the Virtual Library of Sport, http://sportsvl.com/. The design has changed. I think they're trying to make it more dynamic and portal like. But, it's hard for me to read it and make sense of it. Clicking on Contents, http://sportsvl.com/overview.htm, gives a page that, for me, is easier to understand.
Thinking about our upcoming trip to Vermont I went to mapquest, http://www.mapquest.com/, and then to the site's Road Trip Planner service. It seems to be very useful, easy to use, and definitely worth revisiting.
Going to spell check this now. I use "All-Purpopse Spell Checker" , no longer (4/8/2002)available at Palware. For good or bad there's no support available, and it works well doing what I need.

The other night I realized that I hadn't heard much about Tipper Gore recently, and started wondering what's been happening with her. Talked to a few folks about it. Sure, they mostly thought it was a joke. Did a couple of news searches today. Tried
