Hi Ernie,
Glad to see that your home page is still up and running. I was just checking to find out why my home page counter stopped working this summer. I checked your page counter and saw the change that I needed to make to reactivate the counter. I just completed a telnet session and my page counter is working again. Thanks alot. I sure am glad I took your CPSC 370 class (Using and Managing Internet Services). It has really helped me. Take care.

I attend PHCC in Martinsville, Virginia. I am a single parent of two wonderful children, ages 7 & 4. I am struggling to learn all I can while I have an opportunity to go to college. Do you know of any program that supports single parents that want to further their education in computers that will help them? The financing of my college education will soon run out. I want to support my children and myself with a job in the computer field but most likely will have to quit unless I find a way to stay in full time until I finish. I want to even further my education in computers at a 4 year college, but don't foresee a way of doing it unless I try every possible option. I am just not sure what options are out there. Can you help me? Any information that you forward to me will be humbily appreciated.
Sincerely,

I need help, my place of employment has just put me on the internet and I know nothing about working with or using it. The hard thing about this is that I work for an educational faiclity and I am the only one besides my superior that works here. Up until know, I always took pride in how I preformed my job, but now I am left feeling very sad, wishing I had time and help learning the net. My life at work is very hectic as well as home as I live on an acerage with 9 animals, 7 whom are house pets. Also, I don't have the internet at home because of the long distance charges for time on the internet. Your book sounds like this is something I could really use. Trying to work the time out. Maybe I will be ordering your book very soon.

Hi Ernie, I like your books. I am reviewing them for our 'Intro to Internet' course at Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin (Packer country). Today I received your new version of the 'Learning to use the WWW' book. It seems great for the class I have now. Thanks Ernie. Keep up the good exercises and examples.

As the Academic Computer Aide, I get lots of questions from students using your book. It's wonderful fun to learn with them as they do the experiments in "travel" your book is providing. The training helps me do my job. The learning is informative, fun, and useful for the students, so I came to your Web page to discover more. Here, I find more about your book, Website links, and explainations. I've yet to buy your book due to low finances, but it is a wonderful tool that is educating students for the future. Unlike the "Education of Henry Adams", these students will be prepared to creatively embrass the changing landscape of communication, the Arts, and how we all interact with modern tools.
thanks for the fun,
