Very good!!<\/p>\n<p>6\u00c2\u00a0 eggs separated<\/p>\n<div>3\/8 cup sugar (he says 1 cup)<\/div>\n<div>1 teaspoon vanilla<\/div>\n<div>2 heaping teaspoons baking powder<\/div>\n<div>1 cup flour (I used sprouted wheat)<\/div>\n<div>wax paper<\/div>\n<div>2 round 9-inch baking pans<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Beat egg whites until foamy.\u00c2\u00a0 Slowly add egg yolks to egg whites, one at a time. Then add sugar and vanilla.\u00c2\u00a0 Add baking powder to flour and gradually add to the other ingredients and mix well.<\/div>\n<div>Pour half the batter into each round pan, both of which have been lined with wax paper. \u00c2\u00a0 Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 Remove from pan, cool cakes on rack.\u00c2\u00a0 Remove wax paper (easily after a little cooling).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Topping:<\/div>\n<div>1 pint whipping cream whipped<\/div>\n<div>fruit of choice.<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have often made this for Lynn&#8217;s birthday.
