SO I was especially happy to see a recipe for almond frangipane in Debra Madison&#8217;s book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B006QS0OTM\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B006QS0OTM&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=webliminalbooksi&amp;linkId=PMGLTJ2JNBCCXYZB\">Seasonal Fruit Desserts: From Orchard, Farm, and Market<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=webliminalbooksi&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B006QS0OTM\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>. This recipe makes enough for two galettes or tarts, It keeps in the refrigerator for a week, Just get it to room temperature before use because it has to be spread.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups raw almonds<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>2 Tablespoons flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mix the above in a food processor until the almonds are finely pulverized. Not quite the texture of flour, but fine.<\/p>\n<p>Add<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup of maple syrup<\/li>\n<li>7 Tablespoons of butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and process until smooth.
